Terms and Conditions
All used instruments sold by Windshoppe through eBay auctions are guaranteed to be as described and may be returned for any reason within 5 days of receipt for a full refund less shipping charges. The return period begins on the day the merchandise was received by the buyer as verified by the shipping company's tracking information. Instruments must, of course, be returned in their original condition and should be in the original packing carton and materials. Under no circumstances may returned instruments be "serviced" or "repaired" during the trial period. Please note that the 5-day trial period does NOT apply to NEW instruments, all of which carry the normal manufacturer's warrantee. Return shipping charges including insurance covering the full purchase price are the responsibility of the buyer.
* Merchandise damaged while in the buyer's possession will not be accepted for return.
* Merchandise damaged during shipping:
The buyer is responsible for inspecting packaging and merchandise immediately upon arrival. If damage to the merchandise has occurred during shipping, the buyer must immediately notify Windshoppe by phone or email so that we may instruct the buyer as to how to proceed. Under no circumstances should the merchandise be returned to Windshoppe prior to having it inspected by representatives of the shipping company at the buyer's premises. Windshoppe will not refund payment for any item(s) damaged during shipping if the buyer has failed to meet any of the above mentioned conditions.
Windshoppe accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or PayPal. We are only able to ship to an address that is verified by the issuing bank or PayPal. This must be either the actual billing address with the issuing bank or an alternate shipping address that is on file with the issuing bank for that card.
ALL shipments require a buyer's signature. Under no circumstances will merchandise be shipped without a signature requirement. Windshoppe will provide all tracking information to the buyer upon shipment.
Acceptance of bids from countries other than the United States or Canada is solely at the discretion of Windshoppe. In those instances where international bids from countries other than Canada are accepted subject to the terms outlined in the listing, payment must be by direct bank wire transfer only -- no exceptions. All fees associated with such transfers, including currency conversion to US dollars, are the responsibility of the purchaser. Windshoppe is required by law to properly declare the actual contents and full value of any and all items in a shipment. We understand that this declared value affects any import fees that the customer is responsible for upon delivery, but we will not misrepresent the contents of a shipment or declare a lower than actual value.
Method of international shipment will be at the discretion of Windshoppe and all shipping and insurance costs will be paid by the purchaser prior to shipment. We will always ship by whatever carrier provides the safest and most reliable service to the buyer's location.
